This spacious, freshly updated lake-side home sits on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood just around the corner from Lake Barkley Marina, Lake Barkley State Beach, Resort State Park, and Moon River Restaurant and Marina (see map in the images). This gorgeous lake estate boasts 3250 sq feet, 11 beds, private dock, kayaks, pedal boat, pool table, high-speed internet, all brand new furnishings and 7 new OLED flat screens. Shoot hoops in the front, fish off the dock. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sun room, roast smores by the fire pit, or grill steaks or your fresh catch on the Weber Grill!! You won't want to leave. The main floor offers two dinning spaces seating up to 11 (with an additional 3 at the bar). Large remodeled gourmet kitchen offers a coffee bar, new appliances, and plenty of prep space. The kitchen flows beautifully into the main living area's cozy seating, large flat screen, and a warm gas fireplace (for the cool months). Meander back on to the 20' 3-season sun room for that quiet glass of wine, or a game of chess.
The upper level offers three bedrooms, including a massive master suite with 5-piece bath, two other queen bedrooms, full laundry, and a second bathroom off the hall. The lower level is a fantastic escape/rec area. Large wrap-around sectional an assortment of DVDs, another large flat screen, and pool table, The bunk room is nearly 25' long and boasts a massive walk in closet, six (6) custom built in Extra Long Twin beds, flat screen, and two awesome 4' poofs for movie night.
Walk out the lower level to the back deck and out to the fire-pit for smores night. A large cascading staircase flows down the park-like hill to a large private dock. (If you have a sprinter in your group, let us know if they can beat our 21 second stair-run :-)) Grab the inner-tube, or enjoy our two kayaks or pedal boat. Located on the inside of a private lagoon, the dock and water access is very quiet and safe from large wakes or boat traffic. Summary: We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and had all the amenities you needed for cooking. We enjoyed sitting in the sunroom, reading and playing games. The kids loved the bunk beds and huge bean bag chairs in their room. There are plenty of places to gather in groups if you want to watch different TV shows. There were 9 of us and we had more than enough room to spread out. The only drawback for me (I'm 70) were the stairs to get down to the dock. It didn't phase the rest of the group. They had a ball on the paddle boat and lily pad. I enjoyed the swing. The lake is gorgeous and wasn't very busy. We had fun gathering at the fire pit making s'mores and brown bears. This is definitely a great place for a family vacation.

Summary: The house is super spacious and really nice. We had 7 adults and had lots of space. We rented the boat as well which was a lot of fun. In the evenings, we saw deer all over the property. We were also able to enjoy the fire-pit on our last night. The area is beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful!

Summary: This was the central meeting place for our extended family to converge for the celebration of our mother's 80th birthday. It turned out to be the perfect place for the family vacation and celebration The host is very accommodating and quick to respond. The house exceeds expectations with all the necessary amenities plus additional items to make the stay comfortable, easy and enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cook wear and serving/dining items that makes meals easy for a crowd. Also, RENT THE BOAT----you will have no regrets. It's fabulous and time on the lake is both fun and relaxing. A small note for anyone with mobility issues---there are about 117 steps down to the dock that are a bit steep. With that said, my 80YO mom made up and down as there are flat landings that have a bench, so you can stop rest along the way that make it doable! Great host, Great location, Great house! We'll be coming back.

Summary: The owner and Management Company were very pleasant to work with. The house was very clean well supplied with almost everything you would want plus some. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting Lake access and a quite getaway.

Summary: Our lake vacation was amazing! The lake house was beautiful, clean, and well equipped with all the essentials and comforts of home …..cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, internet, TV streaming, games etc. We felt right at home! We enjoyed morning walks in the charming neighborhood. We kayaked, swam, and fished off our dock in the quiet cove. Having our boat conveniently located at our dock made it so easy to explore Lake Barkley in shifts with our large crew of family and friends. We went skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. A great time was had by all! Property management was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing lake get away!

Summary: We had a large group of 10-two families with six kids total. There was plenty of room and we did not feel crowded. The home was spacious and well equipped-plenty of towels and linens, my favorite hand soap brand, lots of great details not overlooked. I’m a pretty serious home cook and I was very pleased with the kitchen. I had meant to pack my own knives, for example, but this kitchen had everything I needed! I did pack my own French press (though there was a very nice drip coffee maker and coffee station). Unless you were making a specific specialty item, this kitchen is perfectly equipped! We loved the neighborhood and the beauty of the area. Our host Adam was responsive, welcoming, and a complete professional. You will love your stay here!
